Tractor Supply Ups New Store Count

Retailer increases planned footprint expansion by 200 sites.

Tractor Supply Co. (Brentwood, Tenn.) has unveiled plans to up its long-term store count to 3200, an increase of 200 locations. The company, which dubs itself the largest rural lifestyle retailer in the United States, unveiled those plans as part of the Life Out Here 2030 strategy detailed during its just-completed Investment Community Day.

“Our Life Out Here 2030 strategy continues the momentum of our existing initiatives as well as launches new initiatives such as Pet Rx and Direct Sales,” said President and CEO Hal Lawton. “We remain steadfast in our commitment to drive sustainable growth and long-term value for our shareholders. Tractor Supply has never been stronger and the next five years are going to be very exciting.”

The company operates 2270 Tractor Supply stores in 49 states and 205 Petsense by Tractor Supply stores in 23 states.
